John Cristaldi
(RIP March 3, 1999)

A memorial Mass for John Cristaldi of Summit will be offered at 3 p.m. Sunday in St. Patrick’s Church, Chatham. Arrangements are by the Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial.
Mr. Cristaldi, who died Saturday in Overlook Hospital, Summit, owned Cristaldi Kitchen Design in the Summit area for 40 years.
An Army Air Force veteran of World War II, he was stationed in New Guinea and The Philippines. Mr. Cristaldi was a ground mechanic specializing in the repair of P-51 Mustangs. He served in the battle of the Gulf of Leyte and was discharged with rank of sergeant.
Born in Kearny, he lived in Summit since 1979.
Surviving are his wife, Jean; a son, Matthew; a daughter, Emily; two brothers, Maurice and Charles, and a sister, Nancy.
